eSIM for Italy: which plan suits you?

In Italy a JetSimly eSIM uses the Iliad, TIM and Wind networks (4G/5G). The phone can connect to any of the three, so coverage is wider than in single-network countries. All plans can be topped up.

Plans

• Fixed-data: the same tiers as Germany, from 1 GB / 7 days up to 50 GB / 180 days.
• Daily: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 days. You get 3 GB a day at full speed; after that the speed drops to 1 Mbps, and the allowance resets at midnight.

How to choose

If you use less than 3 GB on an average day, a fixed-data plan is enough; if maps, video and hotspot take more, a daily plan is more comfortable. Hotspot is on every plan, no ID is needed, and the plan starts the first time you connect to a network in Italy.

Italy is part of the Europe (33 countries) plan (Europe guide). The Vatican and San Marino aren't on that plan's list, so don't count on a connection there if your Rome trip includes the Vatican. All plans: Italy eSIM.
