Choosing an eSIM for a Europe trip
JetSimly · 2026-10-11
The number in a Europe plan's name doesn't tell you which countries it covers. Tick every country on your route against the plan's coverage list before you buy. JetSimly's Europe plan covers 33 countries; the full list is below.
Check the list, not the number
There are plans called "Europe 35 countries" that don't cover France and plans called "33 countries" that do. Look at the "Covered countries" list on the product page; if one country on your route is missing, you won't have internet there.
Countries in the JetSimly Europe (33 countries) plan
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus (Republic of Cyprus), Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Popular places it doesn't cover
- Parts of the Balkans: Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. See the Balkans trip guide for those.
- Turkey: the plan doesn't cover Turkey.
- Small states: the Vatican, San Marino, Monaco and Andorra aren't on the list. If your Italy or France trip includes one of them, don't assume you'll have a connection there.
- Northern Cyprus: "Cyprus" on the list is the Republic of Cyprus in the south. We haven't confirmed that the plan works in Northern Cyprus; write to us if you're going there.
By route
- Every country on your route is on the list: the Europe (33 countries) plan. You won't need a new eSIM at each border.
- A country is missing from the list: add that country's own plan to the Europe plan.
- One country only: that country's own plan is enough: Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece.
The plan clock starts the first time you connect to a covered network, whichever country you're in. If you run low on data or days, you can top up before the plan ends.
